In the 1800's sailors would return home from the islands bearing shell mosaics as homecoming gifts for their sweethearts. 

These became known as "Sailor's Valentines ".  

Our version of these beautiful objects are created in gold and silver.  

Some of them even have precious stones set between the shells.
